Ray Charrell Hill, 84 of Hillsville, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Galax Nursing and Rehab. Mr. Hill was born in Fancy Gap to the late Robert Cassell and Gladys Turman Hill. Ray was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his sister, Beulah Sumner and nephews and nieces, Ted Sumner, Janet Sumner, Karen Hill, Greg Hill, Stephen Hill, and Sue Hill.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
