Ranza Kervilla Horton, 83 of Austinville, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2025 at his home.  Mr. Horton was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late William Roscoe and Edith Lineberry Horton.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Doris Southern Horton; three brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Horton; grandchildren, Kevin King, Matthew Jones and Ashley King; great-grandchildren, Leighlan, Allie, and Ansley; sister, Rela Rominger; brother Randolf Horton (Dalia); sister-in-law, Judy Horton; brother-in-law, Carlton Southern (Sandy); and special friend, Tristan Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Coulson Church at 2:00 PM with Dr. Wayburn Mosley and Pastor Jeff Pickett, and Pastor Russell Payne officiating.  Burial will follow in the Coulson Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
