Randy Jackson Parks , 52 of Woodlawn, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Parks was born in Galax to the late William Jackson and Linda Mae Spicer Parks.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Burcham Parks of the home; sons, Joey Lee Parks of Lexington, NC and Aaron Edward Parks of Woodlawn; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Annette Parks of Lexington, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Wayne Barnak of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Kynlea Parks, Kristyn Parks, Kamberlea Parks, and Blake Parks; and several nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Skyline Independent Baptist Church at 2:00 with Brother Garry Allen, Brother Clyde Akers, and Brother James Orange officiating. Burial will follow in the Skyline Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 12:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
