Obituary

Randall Steven Dillon (Randy) was born February 22, 1967 in Galax, VA. He was loved by his wife, Robyn; daughters and sons-in-law, Rossie and Seth Gravley, and Annie and Jared Hall; his grandsons, Colton, Hunter, and Jax; Mother, Ruthie Dillon; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Jason Pruitt; mother-in-law, Scarlett Hunter; and Grandmother, Lena Rose Dillon; and his favorite four-legged girl, Reesie.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William (Mumps) Dillon; son, Jacob (Jake) Dillon; and father, Ronnie Dillon. He is remembered and loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.

Randy experienced an unexpected heart attack and joined Jesus, Jake, and Poppy shortly after midnight on November 23, 2023.

Randy is remembered by his family, friends, and trucking teams for his faith, being a loyal friend, his encouragement, wisdom, dependability, easy-to-be-with presence, his heart to serve, and fierce love for his family. He was a self-made mechanic, could give directions along most major highways in the US, would probably beat you in rock-and-roll trivia, and loved to hear a Harley Davidson or classic car fire up.

Randy's Celebration of Life service will be held at Blue Ridge Fellowship on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00. Randy's best friend, Pastor Scott Flippin will officiate the service. There will be no formal family visitation prior. Doors will open at 10:50. Feel free to wear your favorite Harley Davidson attire, or casual clothes (Randy's favorite).

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to Blue Ridge Fellowship.
