Ralph Hylton Marshall, 77 of Galax, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006 at Pulaski Health and Rehab Center. Mr. Marshall is survived by his wife Barbara Marshall of the home; son & daughter-in-law David Wayne & Karen Marshall of Galax; daughter Cynthia Elder of Silver Spring, MD; brothers Hal Marshall of GA, Virgil Marshall of PA, and Bernard Marshall of PA; sisters Lucille Fleming of PA, Dee Thorsten of PA, and Ruth Oliveira of Dugspur; and one granddaughter Stephanie Ann Marshall.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Bethesda Presbyterian Church at 11:00 with the Pastor David Moore and Rev. Carroll Tarkington officiating. Burial will follow in the Alfred Ross Marshall Family Cemetery. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blue Ridge Chapel Building Fund, 1559 Max Lane, Galax, VA 24333.
