Ralph O'Neil Bunn, 84, of Woodlawn, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Bunn was born in Carroll County to the late Garnett William and Lillie Mae Melton Bunn. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Ann Hall Bunn and a son, Steve Bunn.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Bunn of Woodlawn, Mark and Sophia Bunn of Knoxville, TN, and Terry and Hee Jin Bunn of Mt. Airy, NC; sisters, Lois B. Edwards of Woodlawn and Carolyn B. Overby of Galax; and eight grandchildren, Matthew Bunn, Scott Bunn, Cori Bunn, Seviann Bunn, Sabree Bunn, Casey Bunn, Briley Bunn, and Deston Bunn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Freedom Baptist Church on Chances Creek Road with Pastor John Leek and Pastor Charles Bunn officiating. Burial will follow in Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the church from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Independence Cemetery 5281 Stable Road, Fancy Gap, VA 24328. V aughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
