Ralph M. Alger, 71 of Woodlawn, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Mr. Alger was born in Hillsville, Virginia to the late Samuel and Claudine Alderman Alger.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Haeston Alger and a daughter-in-law, Deanna Alger.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Goad Alger; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Jennifer Alger; daughter, Shelley Alger; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Fay Alger; and sister-in-law, Peggy Lundy and husband, Ronnie.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Brother Garry Allen officiating.  Burial will follow in the Alderman Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
