Phyllis Lyons Goad, 86 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Twin County Regional Hospital.  Mrs. Goad was born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Robert E. and Margie H. Fariss Lyons.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Kermit Lee Goad; step-son, Ricky Goad; sister, Jackie Ayers; brothers, Ted Ray Lyons, David Lyons, Ronnie Lyons, and Billy Lyons; and a grandson, Christopher Edwards.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sandy Edwards; step-daughter, Robin; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Liz Lyons; sister and brother-in-law, Lyndell and Sam Semones; sister-in-law, Anita Lyons; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church at 12:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett and Rev. Roland McCraw officiating.  Burial will follow in the Isaac Banks Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 AM till 12:00 PM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
