Phyllis Ann Emerson Sink, 70, of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Sink was born in Elkin, NC to the late Howard Clay and Mildred Mae Gregory Emerson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Sink and Randy Howard Sink; brother, Ronald Clay Emerson; and sister, Donna Emerson Myers. Survivors include her husband, William F. Sink, Jr. of the home; children and spouses, Phil and Betty Sink of Fancy Gap, Pamela Sink Goad and Jose Munoz of Mount Airy, NC, and Mike and Amy Sink of Hillsville; sister and brother-in-law Fonty J. and Charlie Hall of Lawsonville, NC; and grandchildren, Joseph W. Sink, Stephanie Goad, Ashley Sink, Keisha Martinez, Gregory Martinez, and Chase Sink. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Fork Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel on Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
