Phyllis Joyce Cox Duncan, 66 of Riner passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at UVA Medical Center.  Ms. Duncan was born in Radford, VA to the late Jack H. and Elizabeth Johnson Cox and siblings, Carol Susan Cox Vickers, James Frederick Cox, and Jackie Wayne Cox.

Survivors include her son, Derrick Duncan (Brittany); grandchildren, McKenzie Duncan and Amelia Duncan; and siblings, Sarah Cox, Sandra Cox (Joe Rorer), Judy Newman (Jerry Newman), Randy Cox (Cora), and Tony Cox.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
