Perry W. Strickland, 62 of Galax, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.  Mr. Strickland was born in Mount Airy, NC on November 6, 1960.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Tonia Towe Goad, step father Posey Thomas Goad.

Survivors include his father, John Strickland;  brothers, Joe Strickland and Jerry Goad; and several other family members.

The family would like to extend a special appreciation to Perry's caregivers, Tanner and Sarah Jackson and Mount Rogers Community Services who provided him with the highest quality of care.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Towe Family Cemetery in Cana, Virginia.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
