Perry R. Burcham, age 65 of Woodlawn, passed away August 2, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. Mr. Burcham was preceded in death by his parents, Orbon and Delta Burcham and two sisters, Joyce Carico and Linda Funk.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Burcham; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Linda Jane Burcham; special fur children, Maggie and Dakota; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Perry worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation, Fancy Gap District for 30 years. While working for VDOT and after his retirement, he also enjoyed farming.

A graveside service with burial following will be held at Crooked Creek Cemetery on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Tony Lewis of Blue Ridge Chapel Church and Rev. Randy Morris of First Christian Church conducting the service. Military rites will be performed by Grayson County V.F.W. Post 7726. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to SECU Family House 1970 Baldwin Lane, Winston Salem, NC 27103 or Joy Ranch Home for Children P.O. Box 727 Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
