Peggy Jackson Thomas, 77 of Hillsville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 28, 2013. She was preceded in death by her son, Howard "Mason" Thomas; parents, Rupert and Maggie Allen Jackson. Survivors include her husband, Reeford Thomas of the home; daughters and sons-in-laws, Brenda and Wayne Coleman, and Cathy and Jim Frazier all of Austinville; daughter-in-law, Norma Thomas of Austinville; seven grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren; special nephew, Kenneth Thomas. Many special friends also survive. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Theron Phillips, and Rev. Betsy King officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Woodlawn Pentecostal Holiness Church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Thomas family.
