Peggy Ralene Surratt, 75 of Hillsville passed away on Tuesday, February, 24, 2026 at her home. Mrs. Surratt was born in Carroll County, Virginia on February 16, 1951.  She was preceded in death by her father, Junior Irving Lawson and husband, Mickey Rhone Surratt.

Survivors include her daughter, Amanda Lundy and boyfriend, Brian Fritz; mother, Dorothy Lee Lawson; granddaughters, Makenzie Kate Lundy and Macie Taylor Lundy; and special pet, Belle.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
