Peggy G. Stanley, 80 of Meadows of Dan, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Stanley was born in Floyd County, Virginia to the late J. A. Gillenwalters and Maggie Irene Cox Gillenwalters Willard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Connie Elmo Stanley, Sr.; son, Connie Elmo Stanley, Jr.; and brother, Bobby Gene Gillenwalters.

Survivors include her daughter, Shelia Stanley Belcher and Rondel; sons, Kenneth Lee Stanley, Sr. and James Russel Stanley and Kathy; sister, Mayola Joan Duncan and Alton; grandchildren and spouses, Anthony Belcher, Robert Belcher, Sara and Brent Martin, Kenneth Stanley, Jr. & Brittany, Cecil Stanley and Dawn, Rusty Stanley, and Julie Walls and Janson; great-grandchildren, Bradley, Bryce, Staci, Jayden, Jonah, Allison, Adriana, Bryleigh, Jameson, and Addilynn; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service with burial following will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Maple Shade Cemetery at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Dalton officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
