Peggy J. Brook, 87 of Woodlawn, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.  Mrs. Brook was born in Grayson County to the late Wise and Grace Vaughn Padgett.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Vernon R. Brook; son, Billy Dean Farmer; and sister, Betty Talbot.

Survivors include her children, Debi Lineberry and Jamie Brook (wife, Pam); grandchildren, David Nester and Brandi Brook; a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Sky View Missionary Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Wendell Horton and Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Fries.  The family will receive friends on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
