Pearl T. Spraker, 79 of Hillsville, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Spraker was born in Grayson County, Virginia to the late Randolph and Dessie Pearl Vaughan Thomas. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Spraker; one brother; and two sisters.

Survivors include her son, Brian Spraker; granddaughter, Taylor Roberts; great-granddaughter, Leah Roberts; and sisters, Dorothy Edwards and Alice Kahl.

Pearl will be remembered by the love she had for her family, her faith, laughter, and natural talent at many creative pursuits. Pearl never lacked for a hobby. She had the patience to finish puzzles and search for arrowheads and four-leaf clovers. She had the skill to garden, hunt and fish, sew, read, knit, crochet, and paint. If you asked her if there was anything she didn't like to do, she would quickly tell you cooking- though she made dinner for her family every evening.

A private graveside service with burial following will be held at Shiloh Cemetery with Pastor Ray Bolen officiating. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
