Pearl Jane Bowman, 67 of Hillsville, passed away on December 15, 2009 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC. She was born in Virginia to the late Clarence & Evelyn Childress Kemp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gary Monroe Bowman. She is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law Gary M. Bowman, II of Willis, VA and Clarence R. & Tracy Bowman of Fairburn, SD; brother & sister-in-law Marvin & Flora Kemp of Floyd; and three grandchildren Jessica N. Bowman, Bridgette L. Bowman, and Ben S. Bowman. A funeral service with burial following will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 1:00 Pm at Vaughan-Guynn-Mcgrady Chapel. There will be no visitation.
