Pauline Willis Cock, 99 of Meadows of Dan, VA died on October 14, 2018. She was born on April 22, 1919 to the late Earnest and Pearl Largen Willis. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Cecil Cock; brothers and wives, Ray and Ninevah Jackson Willis and James and Alene Lyons Willis.

She is survived by nieces and spouse, Ranelle Dulaney, and Sue and Bill Russ; great-nieces and spouses, Dee and Randy Dalton, Ashleigh Payne, and Tory and Derek Easter; great-nephew, Todd McMillian; great-great-nieces and nephews, Katelyn Payne, Kaleb Payne, Kyleigh Payne, Dillon Dalton, Wesley Easter, Hunter Easter, Carson Easter, and Abigail Easter; great-great-great-niece, Zoey Herring; and her beloved cat T.P. Cock #2.

Pauline graduated from Hillsville High School. She attended Montreat College, the University of Virginia and graduated from Radford College. She taught school for 40 years in the Carroll County and Patrick County school system. Pauline was a life-long member of Bluemont Presbyterian church where she served as secretary, treasurer, and elder for many years.

A private service will be conducted by Rev. Stewart Childress. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bluemont Presbyterian Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home in Hillsville, VA.
