Pauline B. Banks, 94, of Meadows of Dan, VA died March 24 at her home. She was one of twin daughters born in North Carolina on February 9, 1916 to the late W.J. and Bessie Reynolds Banks. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Wayne Banks, Elroy Banks, Hansel Banks and W.J. Banks, Jr., twin sister Christine Cochran and sisters Eunice Nagel and Juanita Cockran.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years Waymon Banks of the home, her daughter and son-in-law Judy & Bill Keith of Meadows of Dan, two grandsons Kevin Keith & wife Tabitha of Bassett, VA and Todd Keith & wife Jaclyn of Hardy, VA, four great grandchildren Madelyn, Mitchell, Mason and Emma Keith, one sister Edith Hutcherson of Danville, VA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ned & Mabel Stanley of Christiana, PA, sisters-in-law Lucille Lewis and Leola Banks of Roanoke, VA and many nieces and nephews.

Our sincere thanks and love to her devoted caregivers Ranelle, Dianne, Shirley, Debbie, Jewel and Lossie.

She was a member of Stuart Seventh Day Adventist Church which she attended faithfully as long as she was able.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Reed Island Springs Baptist Church with Mr. Charles Hutcherson, Mr. Bill Banks, and Mr. Roger Tise officiating. Burial will follow in the Reed Island Springs Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday one hour prior to the funeral service.
