Paul Jackson "Jackie" Haga, 63 of Hillsville, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the Salem VA Medical Center after a short illness.  Mr. Haga was born in Galax, Virginia to the late Paul Fields Haga and Ada Lee Haga Williams.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Elmer Williams.

Survivors include his sons, Paul Justin Haga and Andrew Jackson Haga (Heather); daughter, Trenadi Leigh Haga; sisters, Paula Trivett (Mike), Marcy Testerman (Steve), and Amanda Widner (William); five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie was a 26-year employee of the Carroll County School System.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served for 9 years.

A graveside service with burial will be at the Southwest Virginia Veteran's Cemetery on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM with his uncle, Billy Burnette officiating.  Military rites will be conducted at the Southwest Virginia Veteran's Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
