Patty L. Crowder Harmon, 68 of Woodlawn, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Harmon was born in Wythe County to the late Clinton Samuel Crowder and Loretta Lineberry Alley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Howard Crowder and Alfred Crowder.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Wayne Harmon of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Jennifer Harmon of Woodlawn; grandchildren, D.J. Painter, Shauna Harmon, Haley McGrady, Harley McGrady, and Caleb Harmon; sisters, Leona Jackson of Max Meadows, Allison Grimm of Max Meadows, and Ann Smith of Pulaski; brother, Billy Crowder of Eugen, Oregon; special caregivers, Gail Anderson and Tarren Childress; special pets, Daisy, Tubby and Nosey and Possum; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Rudy Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the Melton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melton Cemetery, c/o Virgil D. Quesenberry 222 Wagon Wheel Drive, Woodlawn, VA 24381. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
