Obituary

Patsy Fay Hiatt, 65 of Cana, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Hiatt was born in Winston Salem, NC to the late Joel Monroe and Mary Lucy Stevens Marion. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by siblings, Esther Marion and Joel Marion (Judy).

Survivors include her husband, Roy Hiatt; children, Tammy Jackson (Tommy), Jasan Hiatt, Randy Hiatt (Cindy), and Travis Hiatt (Jessica); step-children, Roger Hiatt (Kim), Roxanna Stanley, and Scotty Hiatt (Carol); grandchildren, Tyler Jackson (Kellie), Isaac Jackson (Meagan), Eliza Pack (Mark), Justine Lowe Hiatt, Sierra Hiatt (Billy), Lillian Hiatt, Clifford Hiatt, Jasper Hiatt, Riley Hiatt, Journey Hiatt, Tobias Hiatt, and Sebastian Hiatt; great-grandchildren, Emory Jackson, Savada Jackson, and Octavia (Tavy) Jackson; siblings, Joyce Hawks (Melvin), Mary Wall (Aubrey), and Jerry Marion (Ann); special niece, Shelly Marion (Marty "Fred" Dutton); and very special friends Sandy Hendricks (Greg), Samantha Hendricks, Maddie and Samuel.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at True Vine Baptist Church at 1:00 PM with Pastor Rawley Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiatt Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
