Patrick Eugene Gene Goad, 71, of Hillsville passed away on February 2, 2008 in Hillsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Daisy Goad. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law Rickey & Lisa Goad of Hillsville; brother and sister-in-law Willis & Geneva Goad of Hillsville; grand daughter Sheena Goad of Winston Salem, NC; niece Brenda Jones of Hillsville; and special friend and fianc Linda B. Marshall of Hillsville.

The funeral service will be on Monday February 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Vaughan Guynn McGrady Chapel, with Rev. Norman Goad officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas Alderman Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 3, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Flowers are appreciated, and donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will be gathering at the residence of Patrick Eugene Gene Goad at 50 Springwillow Dr. in Hillsville.
