Patricia Phillips, 78, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at her home in Midlothian, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Mollie Fowler Myers; sisters Josephine Myers Giles, Belva Myers Edwards and Betty Myers Gardner. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Edwin Larry Phillips; children and spouses, Edwin L. Phillips, Jr. and Suzy of Newark, DE; Jennifer Phillips Lee and Dale of Midlothian, VA; one granddaughter Molly Phillips; one sister Daisy Myers; brother and sister-in-law Kenneth and Carole Myers; and brother Gene Myers.
Pat was an extremely devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a faithful Christian wife, Bible class student and Bible class teacher. Her continual positive attitude and Christian ways had a profound effect on her students, peers, family, and anyone else she had contact with.

We want to thank Encompass Health and the many from the Southwest Church of Christ that provided support to us during this exceedingly difficult time. So many acts of kindness from so many people!

Memorial Services will be held in her hometown in Carroll County, VA and in Richmond, VA. Minister Greg Ashmore and family friend Ron Crouch will lead the services. The Carroll County service will be held at the Round Knob Church of Christ at 11:00AM on Monday February 7th. The Richmond service will be held at the Southwest Church of Christ at 11:00AM on Saturday February 12th.

There will be no viewing. There will be a small graveside service on February 7th immediately following the Round Knob service for family only. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made to the Round Knob Church of Christ and/or the Southwest Church of Christ.
