Patricia Adele Lane, 59 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at her home.   Ms. Lane was born in Hillsville to the late Jeanette Hurst and Robert H. Lane. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Sweeney.

Survivors include her daughter, Fiona Lane-Sweeney; sister, Jan C. Lane; and niece, Chloe Reavis and her partner, Bruce Holland.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Branscome Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations to SHARE at https://www.sharecancersupport.org/ which has an outreach program for women fighting breast and ovarian cancer. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
