Owen Labon Lawson, 80, of Austinville passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mattie S. Lawson; sisters, Ovella Lawson, and Mina Sue Lawson; brothers, Buford Lawson, Clayron Lawson, and Haskell Lawson.

Survivors include his wife Dorothy L. Lawson of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Marshall Vass; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Karen Lawson; brothers, Junior Lawson, and Duel Lawson; grandchildren, Chelsey Adame, Whitley Ritter, and India Lawson; great grandchildren, Peyton, Emma, and Sara Ritter, Cayden Adame.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Ricky Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
