Oumah "Lucky" G. Goad, 84 of Laurel Fork, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows.  Mr. Goad was born in Carroll County to the late Fielden and Mozelle McPeak Goad.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings, Freamo Goad and Regena Mabry.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Goad; sons, Vince Goad (Debra) and Kevin Goad (Marti); grandchildren, Kristy Jones (Seth), David Patterson, and Katie Patterson; great-grandchildren, Trenton Newman and Maci Jones; siblings, Roland Goad (Shirley), William Goad, Geneva Goad, and Ronnie Goad (Delilah); and sister-in-law, Joyce Goad.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Crooked Oak Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Sandy Hendrick and Pastor Ronnie Goad officiating.  Burial will follow in the Spence Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service.  Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
