Ottis Lee Coulson, 68, of Max Meadows, Virginia passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at his home.  Ottis was born October 4, 1952 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Milton Thomas and Sadie Pearl Stone Coulson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Sheila Shupe and brother Larry Stone.

Ottis proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Teresa Coulson of the home; son and daughter-in law: Matt and Jennifer Coulson; sisters and brothers-in-law Carolyn Coulson, Nova and Kenn Wagg, Lola and Glenn Horning, Mary and Art Alford, Doris Coulson, Gail Coulson, and Nancy Coulson; brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas Coulson and Sue, Micheal Coulson and Sharon, Dale Coulson, Danny Coulson and sister-in-law Carol Hancock and Doug.   Also surviving is his special dog, Bailey; along with several nieces, nephews; several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and burial will be held Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Shupe Cemetery/Round Knob Church of Christ Cemetery at 3:00 PM with Aubrey Whitlow officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by Hillsville Grover King VFW Post 1115.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
