Orlus B. Nester, 86 of Hillsville, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mr. Nester is survived by his wife Willa Dean Nester of the home; sister & brother-in-law Glendon & Melvin Webb of Hillsville; sisters-in-law Ethel Marie Alderman of Hillsville, Lillian Hawks of Fancy Gap and Alice Alderman of Floyd; brother-in-law & spouse Elmo & Margaret Alderman; three nephews and three nieces.

Funeral services will be Friday, September, 8, 2006 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Clarence Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Aaron Nester Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Thursday night at the funeral home.
