Orene Frost Winesett, 84 of Woodlawn, entered her heavenly home on Saturday, January 10, 2009 from Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Winesett was preceded in death by her parents James & Elsie Sharp Frost, brothers Everett, Ubert, and Wayne Frost. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Bonnie G. Winesett of the home; son & daughter-in-law Dean & Glenna Winesett of Austinville; daughters & sons-in-law, Sharon & Larry Carico of Woodlawn, Ann & Jeff Crate of Blacksburg, Kathy & Ralph Thorne of Hillsville; brother & sister-in-law, Harrison & Evelyn Frost, Woodlawn; grandchildren & spouses, Steven & Tina Winesett, Delane & Kathy Carico, Scott Winesett, Dr. Kerri Carico Gray & Dr. Anthony Gray, Amy Thorne Gifford & Adam Gifford, Emily Crate Jefcoat & Tyler Jefcoat, Sheri Winesett; great grandchildren, Brandon Winesett, Cory Winesett, Shonda Carico, Justin Carico; several nieces & nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Church of God with Rev. John Briggs & Rev. John Canning officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
