Opal Frances Spencer, 78 of Hillsville, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the Woltz Hospice Home. Ms. Spencer was born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Dewey and Lola Ayers Gardner. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandy S. Dalton and Rhonda S. Bowman; brother, Archie Gardner; grandchildren, Jessica Bowman and Amanda Bowman Kenny; and one great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
