Oleda Ella White age 87, of Myrtle Beach, SC, died Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born in Carroll County, VA, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Myrtle White. Oleda worked for Dupont for 34 years. After retirement she moved to Myrtle Beach and lived life to the fullest especially traveling with her friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Gunter; a brother, Delano White; a niece, Susan Rice and a sister in law, Lennis White.

Survivors include a brother Elmo White and his wife Mary of Hillsville, VA; nieces, Dawn and Harold Kuhn of Southern Sores, NC, Kimberly Foltz of Winchester, VA; a nephew, Chris Rice; many great nieces and nephews; a sister in law, June Edwards; a dear close friend and caregiver, Marie Blankenship and her loving cats. Graveside services will be held at White-Allen Cemetery Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home, in Hillsville, VA.
