Okie Durnil Dalton, 91 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Golden Living Center Blue Ridge. Mrs. Dalton was born in Carroll County to the late Cleveland Washington & Larmie McPeak Durnil. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Allen Dalton. She is survived by her brothers and sisters Addie Pettry, Guy Durnil, Curtis Durnil, Daisy Gardner all of Hillsville and Bessie Shockock of Detroit, MI.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. R. J. Buttery officiating. Burial will follow in the Branscome Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
