Novella Jane Lawson, 71 of Cana, VA died on October 20, 2018 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Lawson; children, Teresa Lynn Radford and Barbara Gail Radford; son Lester Clarence Radford.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Radford of Mt. Airy, NC; son, Mark Lawson of Cana, VA; siblings, Bernita Harris, Kenneth Harris, Diann Stump, Deborah Austin, Patsy Black, Danny Kemp, Shirley Puckett, Linda Brasco, C.W. Kemp, and David Kemp. Sixteen grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Victory Way Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Popes Knob Cemetery in Galax, VA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Victory Way Baptist Church. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Lawson family.
