Obituary

Noah Elmon Quesenberry, 70, of Dugspur passed away on Monday, February 3, 2014 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junie Earl and Avis Goad Quesenberry; brother Melvin Quesenberry; grandson, Ethan Hunter Jones; granddaughter, Zenna Nicole Dalton. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Alice M. Quesenberry of the home; daughters and son-in-laws, Rebecca Lynn and John Adams, Jr., of Galax, Joyce Gayle and Mark Jones of Galax, and Vickie Diann and Michael Dalton of Austinville; four grandchildren, Kenley Adams, Autumn Jones, Maggie Dalton, and Mason Dalton. Sisters and brothers-in-law, Sadie Q. Moore of Dugspur, Shelba Jean and Charles Layman of Martinsville, Lula Bell and Bernard Gusler of NC, Virginia and Sheldon Ousley of Hillsville, and Betty Hall of Radford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Elmon Thompson and Rev. Ricky Atkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Quesenberry Cemetery on Shady Grove Rd. Willis, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the Quesenberry family.
