Nina R. Watson, 90 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Ms. Watson was born in Carroll County to the late Lester and Oma Robinson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Clayton Robinson and Elmer Robinson and sister Ruth Hearn. She is survived by her son Bobby Ray Watson of Hillsville; brothers & sisters-in-laws Elton & Maybelline Robinson of Wytheville and Ray & Jean Robinson of Salem; granddaughter & spouse Amy & David Fowler of Buchanan, VA; and three great grandchildren William Thomas Fowler, Jacob Oliver Fowler and Andrew Lloyd Fowler.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Myron Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Laurel Rescue Squad or the charity of your choice.
