Nina Lucille Shockley Marshall Bise, 86 of Hillsville, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Mrs. Bise was born in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Cecil S. and Fannie B. Morris Shockley.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Rupert Guy Marshall; second husband, Harry Lincoln Bise; her daughter, Cynthia Newman; and her brothers, Thomas R. Shockley and Herley S. Shockley, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Steven Marshall, Ronald Marshall (Liza), Freddie Marshall (Marion), and Michael Marshall (Billie); son-in-law, Rickie Newman; sisters, Elsie Shockley Turner and Lillian Shockley Marshall Alexander; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hillsville Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shockley Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 11:00 until 12:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
