Nicholas Foy Edwards, 64, of Fancy Gap passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at his home. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel and Mary Ruth Edwards. Survivors include his wife, Freida A. Edwards of the home; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Diana and Scott Hill of Fancy Gap, and Janet and Nathan Galyean of Galax; two sons and daughters-in-laws, Jeffery and Tammy Tobler, and Tony and Delta Edwards all of Hillsville; sister, Nita Goad of Fancy Gap; seven grandchildren, Tyler McMickle, Elijah Edwards, Nicholas Tobler, Makayla Tobler, Mary Beth Hill, Breanna Galyean, and Tanner Galyean; sisters-in-laws and spouse, Linda and Randy Turner of Fancy Gap, and Darlene and Rusty Reeves of Wytheville; brother-in-law and spouse, Ronnie and Becky Adams of Hillsville; special friend and cousin, Ollie Jones. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM and will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral service at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Wendell Horton, and Rev. Ray Bolen officiating. Burial will follow in the Crooked Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Skyview Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
