Nellie Victoria Haynes, 76 of Fancy Gap, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Haynes was born in Carroll County to the late James Riley and Della Iola Guynn Bond. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Thomas Haynes and a sister, Lila Barr.

Survivors include her children and spouses, Kenneth Haynes of Stuart, Shelia and Ernie Edwards of Hillsville, Deloris and Aubrey Don Goad of Hillsville, Cathy and Mickey Woodruff of Hillsville, and Barbara Haynes of the home; siblings and spouses, Bill Bond of Bassett, Bert and Betty Bond of Laurel Fork, Hack and Bonnie Bond of Fancy Gap, Freida Guynn and Birda Poff both of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Mitchell Woodruff and Bradley Goad both of Hillsville and Adam Haynes and Kenley Haynes both of Stuart; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends and neighbors

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Pastor Robbie Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Haynes Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
