Nannie M. Reece, 96, of Manheim PA., and formerly of Sylvatus, Carroll County Virginia, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Pleasant View Retirement Community Manheim. Born in Willis, Va., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Quesenberry. A homemaker, she was the wife of the late Kirby L. Reece. Nannies interests included: crocheting, making afghans, doll collecting, vegetable gardening and canning.

Surviving is a daughter, Doris L. Good of Manheim, a son, Billy L. husband of Carol Murry Reece of Manheim, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a sister, Glyda Epperly of Willis, Va. Nannie was preceded in death by four brothers: Early, Gordon, Kerry, and Clovis Reece, and three sisters: Lydia Huff, Ida Phillips, and Ocie Quesenberry.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel 1035 N. Main Street Hillsville, Va. on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Thomas Quesenberry Family Cemetery Floyd County. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
