Nancy Ann Slusher , 76, of Falls Church, VA, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Fairfax Hospital. Mrs. Slusher was born in Coalwood, WV to the late Jesse and Alpha Collier Nester. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Slusher was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Slusher, Sr.; sisters, Melvenia Roberts and Cosby Cox; and brothers, Hugh Paunee Nester and Charles Ray Nester.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Toms of Hampstead, MD; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Velma Slusher of Nokesville, VA; brother, Leon Nester of Kill Devil Hills, NC; and grandchildren, Heather N. Lambert, Jessi L. Slusher, Scott K. Reese, Garrett A. Toms, and Jeremy B. Toms.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sandy Hendrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Nester Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
