Nancy Saferight, 66 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Twin County Regional Hospital. She is survived by her daughters Kitten Miller of Hillsville and Mary Ruth Nester of Hillsville; son & daughter-in-law Cleveland Wayne & Terry Locklear of Galax; sisters Juanita Johnson of Dobson, NC, Ann Watson of Elkin, NC, Minnie Loflen of Mt. Airy, NC and Ruth Draughn of Mt. Airy, NC; brother Troy Reeves of Springfield, VA; six grandchildren & spouses Alan Locklear, Adam & Stefoni Miller, Amanda Locklear, Mark & Ginger Miller, Jr., David Locklear, and Rebecca Miller; and four great grandchildren Joshua Locklear, Baylie Gazzaway, Madison Miller and Aaliyah Locklear.

A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Hillsville on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 3:00 PM with Dr. Lawrence Childs officiating.
