Nancy Ellen Ogle 85 of Hillsville, passed away Saturday Feb 15, 2025 at Johnson City, TN. She in preceded by her husband Darrell L. Ogle; parents, Erby and Ollie McPeak; grandson, Carl Dewayne Cummins; sisters, Margaret Waller, Alma Sutphin, and Rosie Weeks; and brother, Elwood McPeak.

Survivors include her children, Todd and Patricia Ogle, Tammy Cummins and fiancée, Bobby Owens, Janet Ogle, Darlene and Daymon Horton, and Donna Hudson; sisters, Meretna Waller and Mildred Viars; brother-in-law, Daniel Ogle; grandchildren, Jeremy and Vicky Cummins, Crystal and Michael Nester, Brandon Horton, Bart and Hannah Horton, Jennifer Horton, Derek and Kayla Ogle and Matthew Hudson; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great- great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mom spread her love and hugs and they became infectious. Every child loved to be hugged and snuggled and ridin' on granny's knee. She was always willing to help out with running kids to school to pick them up. Nancy also shared her love with friends of the families' children. When need for a sitter arose, mom was on it. She always had open arms waiting and snuggles for babies anytime. Children went to her like a magnet.

She had a green thumb if she touched it, it grew; especially her flowers and veggies.

Services will be Sunday Feb 23, 2025. Friends and family can visit from 11:30 till 12:30 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel and graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Surratt Cemetery with Pastor Wendell Horton officiating. Come help us celebrate the life of our precious mother. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
