Nancy Willard Lynch, 76, of Laurel Fork, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Lynch was born in Carroll County to the late William and Lola Marshall Willard. Survivors include her husband, James Lynch of the home; children and spouses, Regina and John Wright of Tobaccoville, NC, Mony and Rick Carr of Galax, and Tim and Gina Shelton of Los Angeles, CA; stepchildren, James Lynch, Jr., Joseph Lynch, Michael Lynch, Marie Lynch, Dao Walker, Dai Hilton, Jessica Lynch, Marcellus Lynch, and John Lynch; brothers and sister-in-law, Glen and Cora Willard of Falls Church, and Bobby Willard of Hillsville; sister, Sharon Fyfe of Hillsville; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several step grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Stewart Childress and Pastor Duane Steel officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 1:00 PM lasting until service time. Private burial will be on Thursday, March 7, 2013 in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
