Nancy Ellen Lintecum, 67 of Hillsville, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Ms. Lintecum was born in Austinville, VA to the late Clifford Galen and Martha Ann Frazier Lintecum. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ellen Plocki; sisters, Lois Ketterman, Ilene Jones, Christine Dalton, Gracie Dickerson, and Doris Kenney; and brother, Galen Lintecum.

Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Hanks of Galax and Anna Lassing of Badin, NC; sisters, Virginia Arnone, Martha Rae Lintecum, Brenda Persad, and Elaine Lintecum; brother, Aaron Lintecum; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shorts Creek Church of God with Rev. R.J. Buttery officiating. Burial will follow in the Shorts Creek Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
