Nancy Ruth Bobbitt, 62 of Hillsville, VA, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She is survived by her two daughters & son-in-law Connie & Jason Jones and Donna Patterson; two sons & daughter-in-law Donald & Tammy Bobbitt, and William Bobbitt all of Hillsville, VA, one brother Chester Himes of Richmond Indiana; five grandchildren also survive; and a special friend Danny Hamm.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 01, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with Rev. Joe Tolley officiating. Burial will follow at Monta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
