Nadene Lewis Janney, 82 of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Janney was born in Carroll County to the late Rex and Lucy Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward G. Lewis.

Survivors include her husband, Jasper "Jack" Janney; sister-in-law, Lucella H. Lewis; nieces, Sharleen Sage and husband, Glen, Mary Blankenship, and Evelyn Jean Landis; nephews, William "Bill" Lewis and Harmon Janney and wife, Linda; great-nephew, Chuck Burnette; and special caregivers, Bonnie Smith and Kathy Quesenberry.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 1:00 PM with Elder Lewis Vass and Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the James F. Goad Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00 until 1:00 PM prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Fellowship Primitive Baptist Church c/o Betty Vass, 671 Sunny Cove Lane, Hillsville, VA 24343. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
