Mozelle M. Goad, 91, of Laurel Fork, VA, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011 at Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows Nursing Home, in Laurel Fork, VA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fielden Odell Goad; mother, Grace McPeak Dalton; step-father, Jethro Dalton; great grandson, Travis Upchurch.

She is survived by her two daughters and sons in-law, Regena & J.C. Mabry of Bassett, VA, and Geneva Squeaky Goad of Patrick Springs, VA; five sons and daughters in-law, Lucky and Linda Stanley Goad of Laurel Fork, Freamo and Joyce Goad of Hillsville, Roland Cooch and Shirley Goad of Willis, Randall Butch Goad of Laurel Fork, and Ronnie and Delilah Goad of Laurel Fork; two sisters Emmanelle Martin of Florida, Estelle and Kenneth Dalton of Hillsville; two special caregivers, Nancy Bakely, and Afton Horton. Twenty two grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel at 2:00 PM with Pastor Harold Fenstermaker officiating. Burial will follow at the Spence cemetery. The family will receive friends at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel one hour prior to the funeral service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Laurel Fork Community Center. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
