Jane Mozelle Agnew 92, of the Red Hill section of Carroll County passed away on Saturday May 5, 2012 at her home. She and her family lived in Coalwood, West Virginia for 40 years until her husband retired and, returned to Carroll County. Mozelle was preceded in death by her husband Bryant B. Agnew. Also, preceding her in death were her parents Reed and Louise Dalton, her sisters, Guidie Nester, Selma Dalton, Cloa Nester and Opal Lane, also her brothers, Paul and John Dalton. Mozelle is survived by her daughter, Wanda Rae Agnew, of the home. Her son and daughter-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Virginia Agnew of Hillsville. She also survived by her grandsons, Bill Agnew, Rob Agnew, and Tim Agnew 7 Great-Grandchildren and, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren and by her sisters, Mary Lee Reese, Loufern Hall and Francis Mikkie Webb. The family of Mozelle would like to give a special Thank You to the caregivers and, Blue Ridge Home Health Care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 8, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Vaughan -Guynn- McGrady Chapel in Hillsville, with the Rev. Sanford Hendrick officiating. The burial will follow in the C.C. Webb Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday May 7, 2012 from 6 - 8 at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel is serving the family.
